Martin began his accountancy career with Ron McGregor in 1966 and became a principal in 1974. He has been involved with NZICA (New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants) since 1979 as an Auckland Councillor, Executive Board member, National Public Practice, National Tax Liaison, Professional Conduct Committee and Auckland Public Practice Committee.

Terry joined the firm in 1975 after having worked overseas on his O.E in South Africa and London. He became Principal in McGregor Bailey with Ron McGregor and Martin Bailey. Terry is the Principal responsible for the Kreston International Association and specialises in international matters, valuations, taxation planning and consulting on business matters on a wide range of business activities, from small to large in size and he has a fully qualified team of Accountants to assist him.

Cameron became a principal in 1982. His involvement with the NZICA began with committee work then chairing the Institute National Summer School Conferences. He then became chairman of the Auckland Public Practise Special Interest Group and committee member and chairman of the Auckland Branch Public Practise Committee. He is currently an elected councillor of NZICA and a member of the Auckland IRD Tax Liaison Committee (of which he was the founding chairman). He was awarded fellowship of the Institute in November 1996. Cameron and his team specialise in trust and business profitability and are members of the worldwide Mindshop network. Cameron has a life long interest in Rugby League and is currently Chairman of the Auckland Rugby League.

Gary became a principal in 2000. Gary's interests are his family, golf, Waikato rugby and providing effective tax solutions for his clients. (Well truthfully he is more interested in the previous three activities, but is effective at tax planning and business development). Stephen became an associate in 2000 after first joining the firm in 1993. He has a broad range of clients and specialises in general accountancy and taxations services. He is interested in all sports, especially football, and resides locally in Ponsonby.

Tamara started her career at Deloittes in the Auditing Department where she worked for three and a half years. Tamara moved to McGregor Bailey in May 1996, where she became a principal in April 2000. Her client base ranges from part-time contractors through to medium sized companies that require monthly management accounts. Tamara believes in having a good balance between work and life. Cynthia is the latest addition to the McGregor Bailey Group joining the firm in November 2008. She adds audit expertise to the practice and joined with an established client base in audit and traditional tax compliance services. Cynthia’s professional involvement with the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants has included a year as the Auckland Branch Chair and two years as the chair of the Auckland Public Practice Group. She has a current involvement with the Institutes Professional Accounting School. Outside of work Cynthia has considerable sporting interests mainly in the area of triathlon. Although this now often takes second place to her young son Max.
